Chevrolet Task Force
As the successor to the venerable Advance Design trucks, the Task Force Series ran from late 1955 (second series) through 1959.
The 1955 second series offered standard options and add-ons such as 12-volt electrical systems, the first V8 (the 265 cubic inch), and fleet-side 6-foot, 7-foot, and 8-foot-length beds.
1959 Chevy Pickup Differences
Minimal changes from 1958, the most apparent was a larger and more ornate hood emblem and redesigned badging on the fenders. The last year that the NAPCO (Northwestern Auto Parts Company) “Powr-Pak” four-wheel drive conversion could be factory ordered.

I’m looking for 4 rim for 1959 chevy truck 6 lug 15″ will fit old hub cap
Hi John. Unfortunately we don’t have that wheel in stock at this time. However, if you give us a call at 800-977-2767 we can help you with finding what you need.
I need a radiator fan shroud, original type for restoration perfection. Not interested in modified after market. Also, fender and hood ornament for ’59 Chevy Apache 1/2 ton.
We do offer a very nice aftermarket fan shroud (Part #FS05559 – 55-59 Fan Shroud V8). It is a great replacement, but if you are set on the original fan shroud you’ll have to do some searching. We do not offer the fender or hood ornaments for your Chevy Apache either.
